Seattle International Film Festival 2011 has a job opening for Venue Managers.

The Venue Manager works under the direction of the Theater Operations Manager. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee line management and crowd control
Supervise front-of-house volunteer staff
Liaise with year-round theater staff and projectionist to maximize seating and ensure shows begin on time
Manage individual venue box office and merchandise sales
Facilitate seating and clearing of houses
Coordinate pre-show announcements and Q&A sessions
Ensure a positive screening experience for patrons and guests
Daily tracking and reporting of venue operations
Other duties as assigned

Previous theater management experience and good public speaking skills preferred.
